Thank you for sharing. I often wonder how other people recover and make it through dealing with them. My sons father does get things for our son, but has this “let me attack her” vibe towards me and always nitpicking trying to get a reaction. I ignore him for the most part but it’s tiring so we are going through custody matters. I’m just looking for options to consider. I’m glad you’ve mentioned child support because I’ve been mentally/emotionally abused by him so it’s very sickening to even think of reaching out to him for something so most of the time I just do it all myself. He buys whatever, I don’t ask him for anything. My son loves him, however I’m concerned about him manipulating our son. I’ve noticed red flags a few time which is why I also wonder if its healthy for my son.
