Peace family, Let's talk Spirulina Spirulina is a blue green algae that grows in fresh or salt waters. It is super nutrient dense and can be added to pesto, smoothies, water, homemade salad dressing and more. Facts from Healthline.com ["Protein: 4 grams Vitamin B1 (thiamine): 11% of the RDA Vitamin B2 (riboflavin): 15% of the RDA Vitamin B3 (niacin): 4% of the RDA Copper: 21% of the RDA Iron: 11% of the RDA It also contains decent amounts of magnesium, potassium and manganese and small amounts of almost every other nutrient that you need."] This is a recipe for a smoothie I created. I might have shared it already but it doesn't hurt to share again. 💜 Dairy free milk of choice ( the creamier the better) 5 to 10 Dates ( more or less for sweetness) 2 to 3 TBS of your favourite nut butter (almond or peanut are my favs) A pinch of Himalayan salt 5 to 7 frozen strawberries ( optional) 1 frozen banana 1 tsp of coconut oil 2 TBS of shredded coconut ( optional) 2 TBS of Moringa powder 1 Tbs of spirulina powder Chia seeds Ice Combine all ingredients and blend I like a thicker consistency so I add less milk and more ice. ENJOY
